Jeroen Vierdag started his career in 2000 after graduating cum laude from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. In recent years, as a bassist, he has played in many styles on both bass guitar and double bass with many bands and projects. From Ilse de Lange, Trijntje Oosterhuis and Caro Emerald in pop music, to Latin jazz with Nueva Manteca. He has most of his footprints in jazz. He played with Leonardo Amuedo and Lucas van Merwijk, Francien van Tuinen, the Metropole Orchestra, Amina Figarova, Tineke Postma, Eric Vloeimans, Jasper Blom and was one of the founders of the legendary jazz formation The Ploctones. Currently he plays a lot with Teus Nobel's Liberty Group and is always working as a freelancer on the most diverse projects. In addition to being a musician, he has also been a teacher of bass guitar at Codarts for 20 years and at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam for 8 years.
